Syngaschem Micro Reactor for Model Catalysts presented at the European Conference on Surface Science (ECOSS-34)

This week (Aug 26 -31) dr Hans Fredriksson presents his micro reactor equipped with UV-vis detection in a talk at ECOSS-34 in Aarhus, Denmark. He demonstrates the capabilities of this in house design with several examples on copper catalysts in catalytic reactions such as the watergas shift, or CO oxidation, and illustrates how the on line UV-vis monitoring of the copper oxidation state has resolved a few disputes on the active state of copper in the catalyst.
